Patriot Mechanical Handling Four Month Order Intake Exceeds $7.4 Million USD

HOUSTON, TX--(MARKET WIRE)--Jan 10, 2006 -- Patriot Mechanical Handling Inc. (Other OTC: PMHH.PK - News ), a leading provider of mechanical handling solutions and services to the oil and gas industry, is pleased to announce that order intake since taking control of the UK and SE Asia assets of GME has exceeded $7.4 Million USD.
"Since taking control of the UK and SE Asia assets of our parent company, GME, on Sept 19th of this year, Patriot's order intake has been in excess of $7.4 million. We are very pleased with these results and are confident that our order pipeline will continue to grow," stated Paul Findlay, CEO of Patriot. "Repeat orders from China, Mexico and Brazil were solid votes of confidence in Patriot's products and engineering. Sales intake summary:
-- September 19th, Patriot Mechanical Handling acquires UK and SE Asia subsidiaries of its parent company, Global Marine Energy plc (formerly MOS International plc);
-- October 4th, Patriot announced $1 million USD order for subsea handling equipment to Pride International, one of the world's largest drilling contractors;
-- October 11th, Patriot announced contract exceeding $1.1 Million USD to supply offshore pedestal cranes to PEMEX, Mexico's state-owned & largest oil company;
-- October 18th, Patriot's parent company, Global Marine Energy plc's (formerly MOS International plc) Chairman invested £700,000 into MOS, to be used for working capital for the parent and its subsidiaries;
-- October 27th, Patriot received a new crane order valued at $575,000 USD for delivery to PEMEX. This is its second substantial order to the multinational Mexican oil company;
-- November 22nd, Patriot receives equipment order valued at over $600,000 USD for delivery to Brazilian drilling contractor, Queiroz Galvao Perfuracoes S.A. and completes the opening of a regional office in Brazil;
-- November 25th, Patriot secured an $880,000 order to Keppel fels located in Singapore. The order calls for the Singapore regional office, 'Patriot Mechanical Handling Pte,' to supply 3 BOP Handling Systems, which are to be installed on new build projects;
